William Dale Upole, 65 of Swanton, MD, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Garrett Memorial Hospital.
Born May 8, 1946 in Mt. Lake Park, MD, he was the son of the late Oscar D. & June (McRobie) Upole. He was also preceded in death by brother-Ronnie Upole.
Bill was a veteran having served with the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a truck driver and tile installer.
Surviving are: wife-Edith (Rhodes) Upole; sons-Doug Upole and companion, Hannah, Swanton, MD, Bill Upole and wife, Joan, Fort Ashby, WV; daughter-Tracy Browning and husband, Paul, Oakland, MD; brothers-James Upole, Texas and half-brother-John Upole, Hutton, sisters-Carole Anderson-Detroit, MI, Anna Metheny, Reedsville, WV, half-sisters-Connie Rohrbaugh and Bonnie Coddington, Crellin, MD and Mona Murphy, Oakland, MD; one granddaughter-Skylar.
Per Bill's wishes his body was cremated.
