William Huffman

William Franklin Huffman, 87, of Orwell, OH, passed away on May 24, 2024, at Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, OH. Born on April 21, 1937, in Davis, WV, he was the son of the late Oley Martin and Katherine Louise (Kennard) Huffman.

Bill was a skilled machinist. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Colebrook Methodist Church and enjoyed participating in activities, especially cooking for church breakfasts and playing in the church band. In his younger years, he loved to go hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.

He is survived by his two children, Robin Lynn Sweet and husband Marty of Pittsburg, TX, and William Dawayne Huffman and wife Missy of Pittsburg, TX; five grandchildren, Racheal Moss, Chris Sweet, Dana Sweet, Donna Sweet, and Aaron Huffman; and ten great grandchildren, Collin, Nolan, Austen, Caitlen, Gaven, Hunter, Kohner, Spencer, Mason, and Ellie; and two siblings, James Huffman of Orwell, OH, and Diane Booker of Davis, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Solley Huffman.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 10 AM, in the Davis Cemetery with Pastor Brad Spencer officiating.
