William Dale

William Albert Dale, Sr., 71, of Oakland died on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Born on December 7, 1942 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William and Ruth Dale. He was an Independent Damage Appraiser and had previously owned NSH and Associates West in Baltimore. He was a member of the Oakland/Mt. Lake Park Lion's Club, a former member of the Elk's Lodge, Hasslinger Athletic Association in Baltimore and the Baltimore Claimsman Association for which he had served twice as President. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Mary (Sears) Dale; three children, Bill Dale and wife Michelle of McHenry, Andria Dale and Andrew Dale, both of Oakland; grandchildren, Hunter, Angelo, Jazlynn and Sophie Dale and Madison Santini; a sister, Betty Druin of Baltimore; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie Michelle Hebb, in September 2013. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1 PM in St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Oakland with Rev. R. Samuel Wachter officiating. The Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is assisting the family with arrangements.
