Wayne Allen "Wanker" Moyer, III, age 34, of Swanton, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Wayne loved fast cars, beautiful women and spending time with his son, Bryton. In his spare time, Wayne enjoyed fixing things, listening to music and riding motorcycles. Wayne was featured on the covers of the "Lab Coat Girl'' books illustrated by local artist and graphic designer, Mark Stutzman. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help his friends and family. He will truly be missed.
Wayne is survived by his father, Wayne A. Moyer, Jr. and wife Tabby of Oakland; his mother, Teresa A. (Tasker) Lipscomb and husband Dave of Swanton; a son, Bryton Moyer and his mother Christine Hanlin; brothers, Joseph Moyer, Sr.and partner Katie of Kitzmiller, Sam Moyer and wife Damieann of Oakland, David Stewart of Mount Storm, Nick Stewart of Mount Storm, Aidan Moyer, Kai Moyer, Iein Moyer, all of Oakland; his grandmother, Mona "Mam" Armstrong; aunt and Godmother, Cindy Ahern and husband Rick, aunt Amy Kahl and husband Rick; uncles, Billy Moyer and wife Diane; Dave Armstrong and Candy; nieces, B.B. Moyer and "Uncle Wayne's beautiful girl" Daliliah Moyer; nephews, J.J. Moyer, Samson Moyer, Bubba Moyer; his dog, Maisie; his cousins whom he loved and was very close to, Davey "Crockett" Armstrong and Corey Armstrong; special friends, Eric Chapman and Kenny Landis; best buddy, David Armstrong; and a very, very special friend, Jelissa Jones.
Wayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne Moyer, Sr., Tena Moyer and Dale Tasker; a stepbrother, Stephen "Stevo" DeWitt and Sarah Guthrie.
Wayne's wish for cremation will be honored and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
