Wanda Spiker

Wanda L. Spiker, 87, of Blaine, WV passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at the home of her daughter and son in law, Debi and Bill Thrasher, in Corinth, WV. Born on November 17, 1928 in Barnum, WV, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Ina L. (Simon) Bray. She was a member of the Kitzmiller Assembly of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. She is survived by one daughter, Debra L. Smith-Thrasher and husband Bill, as well as his children, of Corinth; one son, Dennis E. Spiker of Philadelphia, PA; five grandchildren, John Corley, Demora Smith, Dennis Spiker, Matthew Spiker and Zach Spiker; four great grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Jaxon and Aurora Jean; two brothers; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Spiker, in 1970 and seven brothers and sister. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Friday, May 6th from 6 to 8 PM and at the Kitzmiller Assembly of God on Saturday, May 7th from 9 to 10 AM after which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Alice Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the Cohen and Broz families as well as Preston County Hospice.
