Wanda Barnes

Wanda M. Barnes, 86, of Cross Timbers, Missouri, died on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at her home. Born on March 16, 1930 in Swanton, she was the daughter of the late George S. and Juanita B. (Warnick) Tichinel. Wanda was united in marriage to Raymond E. Barnes in 1985. Together they moved to Missouri where they made their home in Cross Timbers. She loved to sew and make holiday fruit cakes with her grandchildren. Wanda is survived by three children, Richard Paugh and wife Regina, Catherine Tasker and Judy Garcia and husband Joe; seven siblings, Darrel Tichinel and wife Phillis, George Tichinel and wife Virginia, Elizabeth Paugh, Mariam Murry and husband George, Louise Conklin and husband Ezra, Doris Skipper and husband Rich and Ruby Tichinel; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Barnes and four siblings, Betty Phillips, Shirley Paugh, Connie Davis and David Tichinel. Friends will be received at the Walnut Bottom Assembly of God Church on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 9-10:00 AM at which time a funeral service will be held.
