Virginia McDowell

Virginia Lorraine “Lori” McDowell, 27, of Buckhannon, WV died June 7, 2017 in Buckhannon, WV. She was born May 8, 1990 in Hickory, NC a daughter of Jeff and Sandra Casto McDowell, Buckhannon, WV. She is survived by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Rebecca McDowell, Elkins, WV, maternal grandparent, Kenneth Casto, Pickens, WV, one sister, Susan Rebecca McDowell-Lutz, two nephews who she dearly loved, Evan and Andrew McDowell. She was preceded in death her maternal grandmother, Virginia Shingleton Casto and aunt, Mary Susan McDowell. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Buckhannon. She enjoyed traveling, music, spending time outdoors, and sports, especially soccer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First United Methodist Church, 52 S. Florida St. Buckhannon, WV 26201. Graveside services and interment will be at the Pickens IOOF Cemetery in Pickens, WV at 2:00 PM on Saturday June 10, 2017 with Rev. M. Steven Meadows officiating.
