Violet Cowger, 87, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Cortland Acres in Thomas, WV.
She was born in Elkins, WV on June 12, 1932, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Currence.
She survived by her daughter Pam Clevenger and husband Ron from Clarksburg, son Dean Cowger and wife Debbie, from Elkins, daughter-in-law Sharon Cowger from Clarksburg; 6- grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert “Butch” Cowger.
At the request of Ms. Cowger, she will be cremated. A private graveside service will be held in Pickens, WV. Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Condolences may be made to the family at www.hinklefennerfuneralhome.com
