Viola Werdebaugh

Viola Ernestine (Lawhorn) Werdebaugh, 74, of Oakland died on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on May 31, 1941 in Virginia, Viola is the daughter of the late Cletus E. and Elizabeth V. (Miller) Lawhorn. Viola attended Shady Dell Church. She enjoyed Sunday afternoon motorcycle rides with her husband and attending auctions and yardsales. She spent time decoration and arranging flowers. Viola treasured the special times she spent with her family. She was loved by all. Viola is survived by her husband of 24 years, Darrell Werdebaugh; her children, Elizabeth Mackert and husband David of Cumberland, Diana Junkins and husband Dan of Oakland, Mark Fazenbaker of Oakland; stepsons, Scott Werdebaugh and wife Sharon of Bridgeport, WV and Marty Werdebaugh and wife Linda of IL; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great grandchildren on the way; siblings, Flo Fangman and husband Al, Dennis Lawhorn and wife Jackie, Milton Warfield and wife Charlotte, Philip Lawhorn and wife Margie all of Baltimore; and special friends, Joann Schrock and Wilma Friend. In addition to her parents, Viola was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Lawhorn and Donald Warfield; and her nephew, Alan Fangman, Jr. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Shady Dell Church on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Donald Upole officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
