Victoria A. Regnier, 94, of Oakland died on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Cherry Hill Assisted Living in Accident. Born on August 2, 1922, in Agawam, MA, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Julia (Scherpa) Ardizoni. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Oakland. She was an avid bridge player and golfer, having been a member of the Oakland Women's Golf Association. She will be remembered as a great hostess and Italian cook who loved gardening, square dancing and, most especially, spending time with her family. She is survived by three children, Norma Rickman and husband Jack of Oakland, John Regnier and wife Sally of Glenwood, MD, and Deborah Hutton and husband James of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Christopher Regnier and wife Beth, Melody Jones and husband Eric, Nathan Rickman and wife Heather, and Andrew Rickman and wife Leslie; and six great grandchildren with one on the way. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Norman C. Regnier, 2007. Friends will be received at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 208 S 4th St., Oakland on Tuesday, May 23rd from 1 to 2 PM after which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Doug Kenney. Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Garrett County, PO Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550.
