Thelma Belle Lewis, 93, of Oakland died on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. Born on June 9, 1921 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruie Fern (Sanders) Ringer. She is survived by her sister in law, Clarice "Glendine" Ringer of Oakland and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ray Lewis; a brother, Willard R. Ringer; an infant twin brother, a half-brother, David Hardesty; and an infant half-sister. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Sunday, January 25th from 1 to 3 PM after which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Eric Beeman officiating. Interment will be in the Terra Alta Cemetery, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Corinth United Methodist Church, Rt. 7, Corinth, WV 26764 or the Dennett Road Manor Activities Dept., 1113 Mary Dr., Oakland, MD 21550.
