Teresa Kitzmiller

Teresa Kitzmiller, 60, of Gorman, MD went home to be with her savior on September 13, 2023. She was born on May 30, 1963, in Oakland, MD. She was the daughter of the late John D. Kitzmiller and Jesse and Helen (Jones) Gnegy.

Teresa worked at Fredericksburg Auto Action for several years and, most recently, she worked at Walmart where she made many friends who she considered to be family.

She enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson, decorating for all holidays, and making sure her yard and home looked and felt cozy. Most importantly, Teresa loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters, Maddy and Ellie. She loved taking them on trips to the beach and teaching them all about life.

Teresa is survived by her son, Josh Geroski; daughter, Jessica Geroski and husband Matt Morris; granddaughters, Madelyn and Elliana Morris; brother, Jay and wife Mary Kitzmiller; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also had countless friends who she turned into her family and she will be greatly missed by all of them along with her family. Teresa also loved her pets, Sparkles, Maggie, and Lily.

Teresa was preceded in death by her son, Michael Chad Geroski, and sister, Tammy Stem.

There will be a celebration of life service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Garrett County Animal Shelter or HART for Animals.
