Tawnya Fike

Tawnya Dawn (Lambert) Fike, 42, of Oakland passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, in Hagerstown. Born on September 23, 1973 in Oakland, she was the daughter of Bonnie Sue (Moreland) Lambert Zimmerman of Oakland and the late Russell Eugene Lambert. She had been a caregiver for Appalachian Crossroads for many years and loved caring for all people. Tawnya loved music, singing, family gatherings and being with friends. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother, Shayne Lambert and wife Brenda of Oakland; two half-brothers, Dayrle Lambert and Brett Lambert; three half-sisters, Eugenia Kisner and Debra Sales, both of Oakland and Ashley Kisamore of Scherr, WV; stepmother, Joanne Lambert of Oakland; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Cassey Lambert. A memorial service will be held in the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Friday, June 3rd at 11 AM with Deacon Harold Bradley and Rev. Robert Fletcher officiating. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service. Private interment will take place in the Moreland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Tawnya's name to Hart for Animals, Inc.
