Tamela Stem

Tamela "Tammy" M. Stem, 58, of Gormania, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.  Born on November 12, 1958 in Oakland, she is the daughter of John D. Kitzmiller and Helen M. (Jones) Gnegy.   Tammy was a graduate of Union High School and attended Garrett College.  She worked as an office assistant at Manor Home Center in Mt. Lake Park.  In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who treasured the time she spent with her family especially those moments with her grandchildren.  Tammy is survived by her husband, Karl P. Stem; her children, Tina Kitzmiller and husband  Stewart of Mount Storm, Eric Stullenbarger and wife Vicki of Holly Ridge, NC,  Aaron Stullenbarger and wife Jessica of Swanton and Sarah Stullenbarger and significant other Roy Rinker of Bayard; grandchildren, Natalie and Devon Tracey, Madison Kitzmiller, Allee Reimers, Maureen and Michelle Currence, Kamren and Liam Stullenbarger and Brandon Schmidt; great grandchildren, Christian Currence and Melanie Burke; siblings, Jay Kitzmiller and wife Mary of Deer Park, Teresa  Kitzmiller of Oakland and  half-brother, David Kitzmiller and wife Helena of Mount Storm.  Friends will be received at the C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 1-5 PM at which time a celebration of life will be held with Shirley Crawford officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Winchester Medical Center Foundation, C/O Angel Fund 220 Campus Blvd., Suite 402, Winchester, VA 22601.  The family would like to thank Marcee, Lois, Suenette, Becca and Pastor Larry of Grant County Hospice for their loving care and also to all of the friends and family that supported and donated to the family during Tammy's illness.  Condolences for the family may be left at www.csfredlockfh.com.
