Steve Burns

Steve Allan Burns, 45, of Oakland died on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, WV. Born on March 15, 1967 in Oakland, he was the son of the late John H. and Alma D. (Miller) Burns. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his wife, Lois (Mousch) Burns; two sons, Matthew Allan Burns and wife Samantha and Bradon Scott Burns, all of Oakland; two daughters, Brittany Lee Burns of Oakland and Tiffany Renee Burns of Bird City, KS; four sisters, Shirley Thayer, Diane Beckman, Rebecca Bittinger and Crystal Gandea, all of Oakland; a brother, John Burns of Terra Alta, WV; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Tuesday, March 5th from 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
