Sheila Stemple

Sheila Stemple, 67, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born on February 18, 1956, Sheila was the loving daughter of the late Cecil Conneway and Virginia Smith Nethken.

Sheila cherished her role as a mother and dedicated her life to raising her children with love and care. Sheila's life revolved around the things she loved most, spending quality time with her grandchildren, indulging in the art of crocheting, and the companionship of her loyal furry friends, Tiny and Sparky.

Sheila is survived by her children, Tracy Carlson and her husband Bryan of South Carolina, Cheri Davis Bray and her husband JR of Kitzmiller, Sara VanMeter and her husband James, of Wellersburg, PA, Ginger Lockmiller and her husband Rob of Tuscaloosa, AL, Bridget Shreve and her husband Chris of Oakland; stepchildren, Richard Stemple and his wife Theresa of Oakland, Laura Clough and her husband Mike of Delaware, and Michael Stemple and his wife Lori of McHenry; a host of beloved grandchildren; and a sister, Jane Knox.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Stemple; a step daughter, Bonnie Harbourne; and a grandson, Roy "Petie" Davis.

Services will be private and interment will be in the Turner Cemetery.
