Shaun Crittenden

Shaun Marie Crittenden, 54, of Thomas, WV, passed away on October, 10, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  Born on November 16, 1967, she was the daughter to the late Ronald and Yvonne (Close) Haller.

Shaun was a social butterfly, always happy and always smiling.  Anyone who knew her, loved her, because she was such a joy to be around.  In addition to spending time with her family, friends and beloved pets, she loved to go digging for ramps.  In 2018, Shaun won the very well deserved "Employee of the Year" award from the Tucker County Chamber of Commerce.  She worked in the service industry at Sirianni's Cafe for 30 plus years.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jeff Crittenden;  a sister, Jan Cox and husband Dale of Grafton, WV; two brothers, Jody Haller and wife Lisa of Junior, WV, and Eric Haller and wife Susan of Elkins, WV; her mother and father-in-law, Jim and Kathy Hedrick of Red Creek, WV; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Becky Hedrick of Clarksville, TN, Sherry and Matt Campise of Crocker, MO, Michelle and Jody Kalar of Kerens, WV,  Mara and Bill Kunkel of New Martinsville WV, Wes and Courtney Hedrick of Alexandria, VA, and Tommy Hedrick of Mechanicsville, MD; very special niece, Desiree Grimes and husband Bryson of Kingwood, WV, that was like a daughter to her; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Sperry.

Shaun's request to be cremated will be honored with a celebration of life service to be held at a later date. The Hinkle-Fenner funeral home is honored to be serving the Crittenden family at this time.
