Sharon Morris

Sharon Kay (Dials) Morris, 62, of Oakland, died on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Western Maryland Medical Center. Born on March 3, 1951 in Inez, KY, she was the daughter of Maxine (Kirk) Fairchild of Oakland and the late Randall Dials. Sharon loved to watch the Ravens and Orioles games, spend time with her family, play games, read mystery books and go watch the games, which were played by her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Morris; daughter, Denise Deal and husband Jim; son, Melvin Morris III and wife Tonya; grandchildren, Kelley, Chelsea, Kristen, Jimmy and Maddie Deal and JJ and Rachel Morris; siblings, Randy and Rita Dials, Vicki and Lydell Savage and Michael Fairchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 10 AM in the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, MD with John Smithson officiating.
