Sandra Gravelle

Sandra Michelle Gravelle, 57, of Davis passed away on April 17, 2025, with her family by her side, after a courageous battle against cancer. Born on October 20, 1967, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Robert D. Harsh and Norma Harsh Strahin whom resides in Terra Alta.

Sandy lived for life's simple joys: traveling to new places, relaxing on beach trips, and cherishing time spent with her nieces and nephews. She loved her daily walks with her beloved dog, Smokey. Although she'd grumble, she delighted in cooking hearty meals for family and friends. Her happiest times were spent just driving around with her husband, David, exploring backroads and sharing laughter.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 30 years, David Gravelle; her brother, Mike Harsh of Eglon; her aunt, Doris Harsh of Bridgewater, VA; four cousins, Susan Baker, of Winston Salem, NC, John Harsh and Gary Flory of Bridgewater, VA, and Linda Clymer of Findley, OH; brother in law, Tobie Gravelle and wife Samantha; sister in law, Lisette Popish; stepmother, Carolyn Harsh; and step brothers and sister, Cynthia Bachtel, Brian Wilt, and Alan Wilt.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roscoe and Florence Wotring and Artemis and Florence Harsh; an uncle, Leroy Harsh; an aunt, Joy Flory; and stepfather, David C. Strahin.

Sandy's request for cremation was honored. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11 AM, in the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Home - Davis Chapel, with Pastor John Callaway officiating.
