Sandra McCrobie

Sandra Kay McCrobie, 77, of Kingwood, WV, passed away on March 3, 2025, peacefully at her daughter's home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 7, 1947, in Parsons, she was the daughter of the late Orville Gerald and Coyla Mae (Uphole) Hershman.

Sandra attended Southern High School, and worked as a caregiver for Home Health Care. She was a very loving mother and housewife. Every month she looked forward to her family gatherings, and loved preparing for their annual yard sale. To say she was a dog lover was an understatement, but her most beloved dog was Herkie which whom she will now forever be with.

She is survived by her companion of 25 years, Dale Moats; children, Lester McCrobie Jr. and fiancé Julie Sanders of Glen Burnie, MD, Tina Harsh and husband Steve of Eglon, Tamela Snyder an husband Bruce also of Eglon, and Pamela Friend and husband Roger of Etam; adopted children, Carmalisa Ford of Akron, OH, Shawnta Osornio of Moorefield, Robert Ford of East Liverpool, OH; grandchildren, Ashley Real and husband Josh, Lester McCrobie III, Brandon McCrobie, Amy Moats, Aaron Harsh and wife Nichole, Katrina Harsh, Jason Snyder and wife Chelsea, Jessica Stemple and husband Matthew, Matthew Snyder and wife Sierra, Melissa Snyder, Christopher Friend and wife Brittney, Crystal Stout and husband Frankie, Junior Friend and wife Cursty, Caleb, Dakota, Gabby, Layla, Rakeam, Mateo, Angel, Ilea, Iliana; 21 great grandchildren; and a sibling Edward Hershman of Glen Burnie, MD; and very special niece, Mary "Frannie" Phillips and husband Dylan and their daughter, Olivia.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Roger Friend III, and a brother David Hershman.

Sandra's wishes to be cremated will be honored. And no services are scheduled at this time.
