Samuel Howard Slaubaugh, Jr., 39, of Eglon, WV died as a result of vehicle fatality on November 20, 2013 in Clarksburg, WV.
He is survived by his parents, Samuel Howard Sr. and Shirley Ann Thomas Slaubaugh, wife, Tammy Willis Slaubaugh, and 3 sisters, Penny (Harold) Getz, Mt. Storm, WV, Tammy (Jamie) Rinker, Aurora, WV, and April (Timothy) Getz, Cumberland, MD. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Webster Wade Eugene Slaubaugh who would have been 21 years old and 1 daughter, Khloe Ann Lucille Slaubaugh who would have soon been 3 years old.
Mr. Slaubaugh worked in the coal and gas industry as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed working on his jeep, 4-wheeling, mudding, fishing, and hunting. He had a great sense of humor that seem to spread to others and he was always helping his neighbors any way he could.
Friends will be received November 23, 2013 at Hinkle Funeral Home from 11 AM to 1PM, the service hour, with Reverend Leslie Hipp officiating. Interment will follow in Nethken Hill Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
