Runetta Kaye Field, 47, of Oakland, MD passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital.
Born May 27, 1963 in Oakland, MD. She was the daughter of Phyllis J. (Savage) Field and the late Benjamin Earl Field. She is survived by one son, Timothy Brandon. Field Lax; a sister Teresa Harvey & husband Keith ; one brother, Douglas Field; special aunt, Marion Field Hinebaugh; and two nieces Brittany Harvey and Alexis Harvey, all of Oakland, MD.,
Runetta was employed as a clerk at Brownings Foodland in Oakland for ten years and Alvarez Contractors for six years. She was a graduate of Garrett Community College and Tri-State Beauty Academy and attended Mt. lake Park Baptist Church.
Runetta was always a "special person" and enjoyed so much, the many people she met, during her working years.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd Street, Oakland, MD, 21550, Friday, October 22, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Mountain Lake Independent Baptist church with the Rev. Dennis Leatherman officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the David A. Burdock Funeral Home P.A., 21 N. 2nd Street, Oakland, MD.
