Rowena Damron

Rowena Erma Damron, 77, of Morgantown, WV died September 25, 2015 at Mon General Hospital. She was born August 18, 1938 in Erwin, WV a daughter to the late Claudis Carrol and Wilma Teresa Conn Hauser. She is survived by 2 brothers, Ralph A. Hauser and Lawrence (Kim) Hauser, 3 sisters, Delores (Jack) Snarr, Lois (Gene) Evans, and Sheila K. Hauser, many nieces, nephews, and two special friends, Joey and Robin Malcolm. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Joe and Bernice (Hardesty) Conn and Raymond and Martha (Harsh) Hauser, one sister-in-law, Sharon Hauser, one niece, Susan Snarr, 3 nephews, Johnny Snarr, Cody Diorio, and Mike Betz. Ms. Damron worked for 25 years as a medical supplier for West Virginia University Hospital. She was stricken with polio at a young age. However, she always lived life to the fullest and with a smile on her face. At the request of the deceased, her remains were cremated. Friends will be received Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 at Stemple Ridge United Methodist Church from 3-4 PM, at 4:00 PM a memorial service will be held. Following the service, there will be a meal held at the Aurora Memorial Building.
