Roscoe Bray

Roscoe Wayne Bray, 66 of Kitzmiller, MD, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at his residence.
Born August 19, 1944 in Vindex, MD, he was the son of the late Albert L. and Nellie Emma (Knox) Bray.
Wayne retired from Garrett County Board of Education with 27 years of service. He was a member of the Kitzmiller Lions Club, American Legion, VFW, Elks and the Army National Guard for thirty years.
Surviving are: brothers-Ronald Bray, and wife, Louise, Kitzmiller, Garry Bray and wife, Becky, Bloomington, MD, Danny Bray and Carl Bray, Kitzmiller, MD and Donnie Bray, Oakland, MD; sisters-Betty Barrick and husband, Jim; Linda Bray and Marcia Moore and husband, Jim, all of Oakland, MD; eight nieces and nephews; one step-niece and three great-nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, PA., 21 N. 2nd St, Oakland, MD, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m, Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Rankin and Rev. Mel Menker.
Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Military graveside services will be accorded.
