Rory Bernard

Rory Stephen Bernard, 50, of Morgantown, WV, and formerly of Swanton, MD, passed away on December 15, 2024, at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born on June 25, 1974, in Cumberland, he was the son of Harland Bernard and the late Janet "Jan" (DeWitt) Bernard.

He was a graduate of Southern High School and Garrett College. He retired as a Contractor Sales Associate for 84 Lumber. Rory was a Dallas Cowboys fan, and loved to play tennis, hunt, fish, and ski. He was full of fun and loved Jesus.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his children, Reagan Sherri Bernard and Rayce Robert Bernard; a brother, Rodney Bernard and wife Robin; a sister in law, Elisa Bernard; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Noah Rory Bernard, and his brother, Randy Eugene Bernard.

Interment will be private in the Alexander Lohr Cemetery, Swanton, MD.
