Romaine Carole Arnold, 68, of Thomas, WV died August 15, 2015 at her home. She was born December 20, 1946 in Pierce, WV a daughter of the late Willis Carl and Alice Lucretia Helmick Canon. Also preceding her in death were 1 brother, Terry Canon. Survivors include her husband of almost 50 years, Ed Arnold, 1 son, Darin Ode (Sarif) Arnold, Marion, IL, 1 daughter, Theressa (Joey) Eskridge, Reedsville, WV, 2 brothers, Carl Canon, Thomas, WV, Roy Helmick, Canaan Valley, WV, 1 sister, Betsy Whitehair, Davis, WV, 2 grandsons, Dash Orion Arnold and Grayson Xavier Eskridge.
Mrs. Arnold was employed as resident manager at Alpine Lodge in Davis. She enjoyed gardening, canning and baking. She was a member of the Canaan Valley Baptist Church.
Friends will be received on Tuesday August 18, 2015 at the Canaan Valley Baptist Church from 4-8 pm and from 10-11 am, the funeral hour on Wednesday August 19th at Canaan Valley Baptist Church with Rev.
