Robert Winters

Robert Earl "Bobby" Winters, 67, of Swanton died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. Born on April 21, 1946 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late Earl L. and Helen R. (Glass) Winters. He greatly enjoyed fishing and was known for being able to play the organ by ear. Bobby was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Swanton. He is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Snyder and husband Sam of St. Augustine, FL and Barbara Sweitzer and husband Jim of Swanton; two nieces, Kimberlie Rush of Oakland and Andrea Turner of Swanton; three nephews, Ed Snyder of Jacksonville, FL, Jeff Sweitzer of Swanton and Jason Sweitzer of Oakland; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, May 8th from 5 to 8 PM and on Thursday, May 9th from 11 AM to 12 noon at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Ross Glotfelty officiating. Interment will follow in George Cemetery, Swanton. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1050 W. Industrial Blvd., Cumberland, MD 21502.
