Robert D. Miller, 96, of Binghamton, NY and formerly of Oakland died on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Ideal Senior Living in Endicott, NY. Born on December 26, 1919 in Oakland, he was the son of the late Hurley and Martha (Arnold) Miller. He is survived by a daughter, Ella Jean Holland of Oakland; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a number of half-brothers and half-sisters who reside in Garrett County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Evelyn Miller and Alyce Miller; two children, Milton Miller and Alma Burns; a grandson, Steve Burns; and a number of brothers and sisters. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, January 7th from 9 to 11 AM after which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Matthew A. Paugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Spring Cemetery, Eglon, WV.
