Accident

Robert Russell McRobie, 71, died on Tuesday, May 26 2020, at his home in Accident. Born February 28, 1949, in Vindex, he was the son of Josephine (Gregory) McRobie and the late Charles McRobie. Robert worked at the chicken plant in Hopemont Farms. He loved the outdoors and mowing lawns for people. Robert was loved by all his family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Christina Tichinel and husband Russell of Paw Paw; a son, Russell McRobie and wife Shianne of Cumberland; four grandchildren, Ashley Travis of Paw Paw, Cecil Travis and fiancee Rebecca Schmidt of Accident, Nancy Foster and Cody Foster of PA, and Brandon McRobie of Cumberland; one great granddaughter, Callie Jenkins; four step great grandchildren, Kristofer Sines, Alisha Sines, Selena Sines, and Jason Sines; four brothers, Charles M. McRobie of Crellin, Skip McRobie of Bruceton Mills, Danny Imhoff of Morgantown and Roy McRobie of Crellin; two sisters, Joyce Harrison of Kingwood and Rachel Kisner of Crellin; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Robert was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Koton, Margaret Duckworth, and Mary Bittinger.

A graveside service will be held in the Ashby Cemetery on Wednesday, June 10th at 10AM with the Rev. Marshall Bittinger officiating. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland, is honored to be serving the McRobie family at this time.
