Robert Lee Huffman, Sr., 85, of Dry Fork, WV died December 21, 2011 at his home.
He was born September 18, 1926 at Dry Fork a son of the late Minor and Susan Marie Davis Huffman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Alice White Huffman. Survivors include 2 sons, Robert Lee (Ruby) Huffman and Harvey (Donna) Huffman both of Dry Fork, WV, 1 daughter, Kathy (John) Marra, Dry Fork, WV, 1 sister, Louise Mullenax, Saverna Park, MD, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Huffman was employed as an equipment operator for WV DOH. After retirement he ran an aqua agriculture farm pond in conjunction with WVU farms. He enjoyed farming and was affiliated with the Red Creek Bethel Church of the Brethren.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home on December 26 from 2-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 27 at 11:00 AM at Red Creek Bethel Church of the Brethren, Laneville, WV with Rev. John Moyers officiating. Interment will follow in the Flanagan Memorial Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
