Robert Hinebaugh

Robert "Sonny" Hinebaugh, 76, of Keyser, WV and formerly of Deer Park, died on Friday, September 16, 2016, at Moran Manor in Westernport. Born on November 30, 1939 in Deer Park, he was the son of the late Carl R. and Hazel (Kerns) Hinebaugh. He was Methodist by faith. Sonny enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, was a great Dale Earnhart, Jr. fan, and watching funny movies. He loved his stuffed animal collection with a recent favorite being his groundhog. His favorite activity was time spent with his family at picnics, reunions and birthday parties. He will be lovingly remembered for playing Santa Claus for the family. He is survived by a sister, Wanda Greene of Deer Park and a brother, Carl "Freddy" Hinebaugh of Morgantown,WV, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Peggy Niner, Freda Lee and Jean Kady, who was his guardian and loving caregiver, treating him as her own child, for 43 years. Friends will be received at the C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, September 19th from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, September 20th at 11 AM with and Pastor Carl Lee and Pastor William Kady officiating. Private interment will take place on a later date in Deer Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moran Manor Activities Fund, c/o Wendy Moomau, 25701 Shady Lane SW, Westernport, MD 21562.
