Richard Eugene McRobie, 57 of Mt. Storm, WV, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, PA.
Born August 1, 1954 in Oakland, MD, he was the son of the late Eugene & Arlene Ardene (Sherwood) McRobie. He was also preceded in death by sister-Sherry McRobie.
Richard worked as a coal miner for Consol Energy.
Surviving are: wife of 36 years-Beverly (Kuhn) McRobie; son-Aaron McRobie & wife Karen. ; grandson- Ryan Allen & granddaughter-Megan Lea McRobie; brothers-Jerry McRobie, Carroll McRobie & wife Sherry, Dale McRobie & wife Ann and Kevin McRobie & wife Kay all of Elk Garden ; sisters-Barbara Pancake & husband, Jerry, Keyser, Linda McRobie, Cheryl Cosner & husband David and Ava McRobie, Mt. Storm.
Family & friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A.21 N. 2nd St, Oakland, MD on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren with the Rev. John Walker & Clifford Schell officiating.
Interment will be in the Mt. Storm Cemetery.
