Richard Hall

Richard Anthony Hall, 59, of Oakland died on November 23, 2014, at Garrett Memorial Hospital, Oakland, Maryland, of a sudden heart attack. Born on January 26, 1955, in St. Augustine, Florida, and he was the son of the late Morris and Evon (Hartley) Hall. He was also preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Howard and Bernice Kepple. He graduated from St. Joseph Academy (1974) and Flagler College (BA 1978), both in St. Augustine, Florida. He worked most of his career as a project manager for publically traded resort development companies until 2005 when he located to Garrett County where, within the first week, he met and started dating his soon to be wife, Cristine Kepple. They lived, worked and rode their five horses together on a fifty acre farm in Pleasant Valley. He was a soul mate to his wife and a loving father who was greatly loved in return, and shall be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Cristine Kepple; his sons, Austin Hall and partner Trisha Feeney of Hendersonville, NC and Jon Michael Hall of Jacksonville Beach, FL; siblings Terri Hall, Randy Hall, Ron Hall and partner Kelly Bailey, Rusty Hall and partner Robert Wilson, and Rob and Lori Hall, all of the St. Augustine FL area; and siblings-in-law, Mike and Janet Kepple of Oakland, MD and Tim Kepple of Albuquerque, NM. A memorial service will be held at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, 21 North Second Street, Oakland, Maryland on Saturday, November 29th at 1:30 pm. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. A private ceremony to scatter the ashes at the Kepple-Hall farm will immediately follow.
