Reta Diane (Sanders) House, 78, of Oakland died on Monday, August 5, 2013 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Born on July 30, 1935 in Libertyville, IL, she was the daughter of the late James and Harriet (Trenner) Sanders. She is survived by her husband, Gerald A. House, Sr.; two daughters, Shirley Van Brunt and husband Mike of Mt. Lake Park and Elsie Eddington of Oakland; a son, Gerald A. House, Jr. and wife Tammy of Terra Alta, WV; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; three sisters, Harriet, Martha and Carolyn; two brothers, Jimmy and J.D.; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joe House; son in law, David Eddington; great grandson, J.J. Van Brunt; and a brother, Chuck. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, August 7th from 5 to 8 PM.
