Rebecca Evans

Rebecca Faye (Harvey) Evans, 86, of Kitzmiller, died on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at her home surround by her family. Born on July 11, 1937, in Kitzmiller, she was the daughter of the late Everett Alfred and Mildred Louise (Conley) Harvey.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas Evans and wife Denise of Aurora, WV, and Dan Evans and wife Elaine of Kitzmiller; grandchildren, Daniel Evans and friend Kristie Johnson and great grandchildren, Keystin Johnson and Harley Danielle Evans; grandchildren, Amanda Evans and boyfriend Chip Mullenax and great grandchildren, Wyatt and girlfriend Abigail, and Rylie Mullenax; grandchildren, Holly Wiles and husband Seth and great grandchildren, Kasen and Hunter Wiles; Rebecca Reckart and Teresa Williams, who were like daughters; two sisters, Donna Evans and Martha Pysell; a brother, Alfred Harvey; and numerous brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Wallace Thomas Evans, in 2019, and a brother, Robert Harvey.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 11 AM. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Swanton.
