Rachel Wolf

Rachel Lenora Wolf, 87, of Oakland died on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Garrett Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1925 in Bolts, PA the daughter of the late Ralph J. Gettings and Josephine (Collins) Wickham. Rachel enjoyed being active with the Mary Browning Senior Center, bingo and social gatherings at her apartment complex. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ernest R. "Bud" Wolf in 2002. She is survived by three children, Karen Sue Wolf of Morgantown, WV, Anthony Wayne Wolf and wife Donna of Cumberland, and Ernest Joseph Wolf and wife Elaine of Lake Mary, FL; two grandson, Jason Ray Wolf and wife Katrina of Cumberland and Brian Joseph Button and wife Rebecca of Winter Springs, FL; three great grandchildren, Joey Button, Makenna Wolf and Adalyn Wolf; and her beloved granddog, Katie. A memorial service and interment will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, September 19 at Garrett County Memorial Gardens Chapel, 881 Memorial Drive, Oakland, MD with Rev. Donald J. Parson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Garrett County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 378, Oakland, MD 21550.
