Rachel Guthrie

Rachel Fay Guthrie 59, of Bayard, West Virginia died Thursday February 4, 2010 at her residence. Born April 28, 1950 in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of Ray Sr. and Betty Fulk of Bayard.
Rachel worked for the West Virginia State Park, Department of Natural Resources, and retired as a cashier at Black Water Falls State Park Trading Post in Davis, WV. She attended the Church of God in Bayard, WV. She was a member of the first graduating class of Union High School.
Surviving in addition to her parents, are her husband Robert Guthrie Jr., one brother Ray Fulk Jr. and wife Peg of Bayard, two sisters Regina Marple and husband Richard of Gorman, Rhonda Wolfe and husband Jeff of Mt. Storm; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, 21 N. Second Street Oakland, MD on Saturday February 6, 2010 from 1-5pm. Funeral services will be held Sunday February 7, 2010 at the funeral home at 1pm with Reverend William McCallister officiating. Internment will be in Bayard Cemetery.
