Peggy Niner

Peggy Lou (Hinebaugh) Niner, 76, of Oakland died on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Born on December 21, 1936 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Hazel (Kerns) Hinebaugh. Peggy was formerly employed by Bausch & Lomb and the Garrett County Health Department. She is survived by three children, Susan Ash and husband Jim of Geneseo, IL, Richard Niner and wife Theresa of Yorktown, VA and Gary Niner and wife Robin of Oakland; six grandchildren, Nathan Ash, Brent Niner, Andrea Campbell, Ryan Ash, Tony Niner and Aaron Niner; five great grandchildren, Gavin Niner, Carter Ash, Cameryn Niner, Savannah Campbell and Kaelyn Ash; two sisters, Jean Kady of Keyser, WV and Wanda Greene of Deer Park; two brothers, Fred Hinebaugh of Morgantown, WV and Sonny Hinebaugh of Keyser, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Niner and sister, Freda Lee. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St, Oakland on Thursday, December 27th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Barbara Rexroad and Pastor Cindy Ackerman officiating. Interment will follow in Deer Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of Maryland, 211 East Lombardi St., #260, Baltimore, MD 21202.
