Together Again
Paul Andrew Miller, 86, of Oakland, died on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Western Maryland Regional Health Systems, Cumberland. Born on June 5, 1933 in Deer Park, he was the son of the late Andrew and Florence Miller. Paul was a graduate of Southern High School. He was the owner and operator of Paul Miller Excavating as well as Mom & Pop Watch Service, which was a home maintenance service. Paul was a long time member and trustee of the Deep Creek Baptist Church, enjoyed target shooting, boating, and tinkering with anything mechanical. Paul’s greatest joy was spending time with his wife of 60 years, the late Nina Virginia Miller. He is survived a by son, Mark A. Miller and wife Carole of Accident; a daughter, Martha Downing and husband Dan of Livingston, MT; two grandsons, Travis Green of Accident and Brant Green of Swanton; and a sister, Hazel Glass. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Lohr; and a half brother, Walter Lee. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11AM at Deep Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Dave Helton officiating. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, is honored to assist the Miller family during this time.
