Paul Jackson Thomas, Jr., 74, passed away peacefully, in the presence of a dear friend, on Monday December 30, 2024 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born on June 13, 1950, Paul was the son of the late Paul J. Thomas Sr. and Reva Marie (Breedlove) Thomas.
Paul was the proud owner of Garrett Electric, a company that worked on major quarry projects for Fairfax Sand and Stone and Maryland Minerals, as well as motor repair and generator installations.
He loved riding motorcycles with family and friends, and spent many years coaching Little League baseball. Paul was an avid pilot who enjoyed flying any of his planes. When Paul wasn't working, his time was spent out walking on his property with his faithful companion, Buster. Above all, Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and always looked forward to visits with his grandsons.
He is survived by his son Eric Thomas and partner Bette; grandsons, Theo and Jaxen Thomas; three siblings, Roger Thomas and partner Linda, Randy Thomas and wife Ramona, Teresa Vandevender and husband Brian; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews and their families.
Paul was a great friend to so many people who will greatly miss him.
Per his wishes, Paul will be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
