Paul Bennear

Paul Junior Bennear 59 of Elk Garden, WV died Saturday May 22, 2010 in Oakland, MD.

Born November 11, 1950 he was the son of Dolly Dawson Bennear Baker and the late Paul Bennear.

Paul loved his family and friends more deeply than most souls could see. In his presence a merry occasion became filled with riotous laughter and even the most somber events were peppered with happiness he was able to bring to others. If Paul loved you he would give you everything he had without a moments hesitation. Paul loved laughter music and was a surprisingly good dancer but most of all he gave his family and friends all of the love, affection, and devotion they could have wanted and then some. He remains a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend. His loss brings great sorrow to all who knew him but his memory is a treasured gift to us all.

Paul was a member of the American Legion and the Terra Alta Moose.

He is survived by one son Paul Joseph "PJ" Bennear of Texas, two step sons Christopher and Nicholas Linton; and one daughter Faith Bennear all of Oakland, two brothers Mark Bennear of Oakland, and Kevin Bennear of Hollywood, MD; and two sisters Angela Oronzio of Media, PA, and Debra Bolyard of Mt. Lake Park.

Family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, 710 Church Street Kitzmiller on Monday May 24, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 25, 2010, 2 pm at the House of Prayer Church with the Reverend Leslie Hipp officiating. Internment follow in Kalbaugh Cemetery.
