Patricia Ryland

Patricia A. Ryland 80, of McHenry died on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born on July 8, 1934 at Gnegy Church Road in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late John Lee and Lena Catherine (Shaffer) Bachtel. She is survived by a sister, Helen Nine of Silver Spring, MD; a step-daughter, Donna Licklighter and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William D. Ryland; brothers, Harold Van Bachtel, John Lee Bachtel and Bernard Keith Bachtel and a sister, Grace Marie Ault . Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St, Oakland, on Friday, March 6th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 7th at St. John's Lutheran Church of Red House, MD with Pastor Regina Beard officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
