Opal Reall

Opal L. Reall, 90, of Oakland went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. Born on July 19, 1925 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Porter G. and Bessie O. (Kitzmiller) Jordan. She loved flowers, gardening and feeding and watching the birds. She also enjoyed traveling and became an avid collector of salt and pepper shakers accumulating many sets during her travels as well as those given to her as gifts. Most of all, she loved spending time with and caring for her family. She is survived by five children, Sandy Park and husband Ed of Oakland, Steve Reall and wife Alma "Muff" of Oakland, Shelly Matthews and husband John of Oakland, Sherry Steyer of Oakland, and Lisa Hinebaugh and husband David of Oakland; grandchildren, Mark Park, Jason Park and wife Joyce, Shelby Friend and husband Tim, Jody Reall, Scott Matthews and wife Jennifer, Mandy Shaffer and husband David, Lacy Matthews, Wanda Steyer, Tony Steyer, Jordan Steyer, Bryan Hinebaugh and wife Anna, Matthew Hinebaugh and Courtney Hinebaugh; great grandchildren, Joshua Park, Gregory Baker, Hanna Park, Kayla Lowdermilk, Destany Friend, Anastasia Friend, Raven Friend, Kiara Friend, Alexa Reall, Isabelle Hall, Dakota Shaffer, Tyler Shaffer, Liam Shaffer, Sierra Corbin, Haiden Hinebaugh, Madden Hinebaugh, Kacyn Hinebaugh, Cashton Hinebaugh; a sister, Wilma Rexrode and husband Alva of Accident; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford O. Reall; a son in law, Henry Steyer; and a sister, Jean Deems. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, February 3rd from 6 to 8 PM and on Thursday, February 4th from 10 to 11 AM after which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Donald Matthews and Pastor Ed Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cindy's Fund, PO Box 182, Oakland, MD 21550.
