Nina Whitehair

Nina Mae Whitehair, 73, of Eglon, WV died November 12, 2016 at Oakland Nursing Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 11, 1943 in Bayard, WV a daughter of the late Terry William and Ethel Virginia Hanlin Pennington. Also preceding her in death were 1 son, Lewis Denver Arnold Whitehair, 1 infant brother, William Pennington, Melvin Pennington and Alvin Dale Pennington, 1 infant sister, Mary Lou Pennington and Ruth Beckman. Survivors include 3 daughters; Jennifer (Thomas) Fint, Aurora, WV, Margaret (Harry) Bolyard, Eglon, WV and Renita (Randy) Harman, Accident, MD, 2 brothers; George Pennington, Corinth, WV and Terry Pennington, Mt. Storm, WV, 1 sister; Alice Davidson, Bayard, WV, 5 grandchildren; Clarice Brown, Hannah Herrick, Julie Hartman, Elizabeth Paugh and George Harman and 6 great-grandchildren.
Nina attended the Maple Grove Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and lived for the Lord. Her hobbies were baking, cooking, canning and embroidery. She loved her family.
Friends were received on Sunday November 13 from 2-8 PM at Hinkle Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Monday November 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Apostolic of Oakland Church with Rev.
