Nina Justina (Foster) McRobie, 82, of Mt. Lake Park died on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on April 6, 1931 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Dixon and Marguerite Virginia (Genoy) Foster. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Nina enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Mountain Lake Independent Baptist Church and the Garrett County Amateur Radio Club. She is survived by her four children, Martha White, Stanley McRobie, James McRobie and Elizabeth Rodeheaver; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Stillwagon, Irene Mersing and Geraldine Ford; and a brother, Bill Foster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Gordon McRobie; sisters, Betty Sigley and Opal Foster; and three brothers, Bobby Foster, Joe Foster and Albert Foster. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, June 17th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18th at 10 AM in the Mountain Lake Independent Baptist Church, 1005 Broadford Rd., Mt. Lake Park, with Rev. Dennis Leatherman officiating. Interment will follow in Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
