Nancy Reams

Nancy Alice (Wotring) Reams, 77, of Oakland died on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Born on September 14, 1935 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Loren S. and Iona (Johnson) Wotring. She was a member of the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren and had worked for the H P Store, helped with cleaning and maintenance at the former Durst Funeral Home and helped care for Milton Riley for many years. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leroy Robert Reams; a daughter, Joyce Reams of Cumberland; two grandsons who were raised by Nancy and Leroy, Jason Delsignor and wife Lori and Phillip Reams, both of Oakland; grandchildren, Geoffrey Reams of Oakland, Carrisa Baker of OH, Eric Baker of Cumberland and Michael Dillon of WV; and a number of great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Reams; a daughter, Kimberly Dillon; and two sisters, Neva Ramsey and Betty Creasey. Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 4th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland. A funeral service will held in the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren, 9752 Oakland Sang Run Rd, Oakland on Wednesday, December 5th at 11 AM with Pastor Garry Clem officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Sines Cemetery.
