Nancy Frey

Nancy Jane (Dombrowsky) Frey, 80, of Oakland passed away peacefully after extended illnesses on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital in Oakland. Born on March 9, 1932 in Mt. Kisco, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry August and Nancy Violet (Aylett) Dombrowsky. She graduated from Pleasantville High School, NY. She later resided in Gaithersburg, MD with her late husband Quentin Victor "Dinty" Frey and eventually relocated in the early 1980's to Deep Creek Lake, MD, where she retired and lived the remainder of her life. She is survived by a son, Joseph John Frey of Gaithersburg; a daughter, Margaret Susan Frey-Urban and husband John Wesley Urban of Monrovia; grandchildren, Samantha Jo Frey of Elkridge, John Wesley Urban IV and Lydia Grace Urban of Monrovia; a great grandson, Jeremiah Quentin Phillips of Elkridge; a brother, Nancy's only sibling, Richard Aylett Dombrowsky and wife Helen Scott Dombrowsky of Liverpool, NY; nieces and nephews, Richard Franklin Dombrowsky of Redwood, NY, James Edward Dombrowsky of Ireland, WV, Susan Carole Dombrowsky Hinebaugh and husband Michael Linn Hinebaugh of Oakland, and Bradford Scott Dombrowsky and wife Carol Allison Dombrowsky of Baldwinsville, NY; grandnieces and grandnephews, Jessica Mae Hinebaugh of Brooklyn, NY, Liza Mae Dombrowsky of Boulder, CO, Kristi Linn Hinebaugh of Burlington, VT, Sara Sun Dombrowsky of Redwood, NY, Cody Joseph Dombrowsky of Baldwinsville, NY and Clayton Richard Dombrowsky of Baldwinsville, NY; and one great grandniece, Eloise Dombrowsky of Boulder, CO. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Saturday, January 19th from 1 to 2 PM at which time a memorial service will be held with the Rev. Dr. Chip Lee officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Suite 800, Washington DC 20004.
