Myrtle Louise (Dumire) Varner, 91, formerly of Davis, WV, passed away January 6, 2015 at Mt. Pulaski, IL.
She was born May 20, 1923 at Pierce, WV, a daughter of the late, Alfred Runion and Lida (Glass) Runion. She was preceded in death by her first husband Gilbert Dumire, her second husband, Paul Varner, a son Donald Dumire, 3 brothers , Eugene, Junior and Elwood, 3 sisters, Rose , Pearl and Sylvia and 1 son in-law, Ed Roher. She is survived by 2 sons, Charles (Wanda) Dumire, Mt. Pulaski, IL, Russell (Cathy) Varner, Springfield, IL, 3 daughters, Kathryn Roher, Springfield, IL, Betty (Jeff) Dempsey, Mt. Pulaski, IL , Pauletta (Steve) Hamm, Davis, WV, 2 sisters, Louise Felton, Davis, WV, Leona Howell, Thomas, WV, 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.Mrs. Varner had been employed at Blackwater Falls State Park. Her first priorities in life were her family and especially her grandchildren, she enjoyed doing needlecraft.Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home January 10, 2015 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm the funeral hour, with services officiated by Rev.
