Myrtle "Dimples" (Whetzel) Paugh, 86, of Elk Garden, WV died on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at her home. Born on September 2, 1926 in Kitzmiller, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Vera (Wilson) Whetzel. She managed Whetzel's Place for over 35 years. She is survived by three daughters, Vera Stonebreaker and husband Bob, Alice Andrzejewski and Linda McKinney and husband John; grandchildren, Milton, Jr. and Suzy Close, Anthony and Char Close, Joyce Tasker and Charlie Welsh, Richard and Missy Close, Tanya and Andrew Kacik; great grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley Close, Amanda and Tee Brown, Gracie Close, Tanya and Ryan Stanley, Jennifer Tasker and Brookelyn, Kennedy and Sidney Kacik; great great grandchildren, Jada and Nevaeh Brown, Ryan, Isiah and Aaliya Stanley and Ashleigh and Jocelyn Paugh; and a sister, Nita Shaffer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Francis "Butch" Paugh and Charles "Billy" Paugh; son-in-law, Joe Andrzejewski; great great grandson, Chace Brown; two sisters, Kathern Farmer and Mary Willis; and her life-long friend of 40 years, William "Bill" Michaels. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Sunday, December 30th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and at the Elk Garden Assembly of God Church, Elk Garden, WV on Monday, December 31st from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Bryon Mayberry and Rev. Don Marple officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Cemetery, Nethken Hill Rd., Elk Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
