Mildred Gagliardi

Mildred G. Gagliardi, 94, of Oakland, formerly of Ridgeley, WV died on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on January 24, 1920 in Oakmont, WV, she was the daughter of the late Taylor and Ida (Yost) Cornell. She was Methodist by faith. She is survived by two daughters, Dora Fitzgerald of Eckhart and Janet Elmore of Fort Meyers, FL; two sons, Terry Hamilton of Rawlings and Bill Cox of Burlington, WV; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Gagliardi, in 1991; two brothers, Leo Cornell and Paul Cornell; and three sisters, Madeline Harvey, Marie Michaels and Eva Michaels. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Thursday, January 22nd from 10AM to 12 Noon after which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Lee Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Nethken Hill Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV.
